Site History

Short Version

I started creating websites with my friend because of Neopets. We thought it was cool people made guild websites, so we made one for our guild. It was created on Freewebs. Then, after deleting our guild, we decided to try making a html website. It was called Girls4_life, and had hair tips and recipes. Looking back, it was pretty funny xD. But it was hard to keep up. Luckily, Lissa Explains helped a ton!

The two of us started trying lots of different free web hosts, but none worked as well as Freewebs, so we went back and created Paradise Cloud. It was not as good as it is today. Actually, it pretty much stunk, with a bunch of graphics from other sites that we credited. By now, I was on my own. So I started Dolliz and Dolliz2 when dolls were in style. But the way they worked wasn't easy.

Finally I came back to Paradise Cloud. After fixing it up a bunch of times, and rewording the coding, and learning to make better graphics, the site was great! And after looking for a host, Manda agreed to host me, and helped teach me FTP. Thanks so much!

So, here's Paradise Cloud, better than ever! :)

Long Version

My friend and I have been creating websites for a long time.The first one we made was krazy for kackeeks guild web, the guild webbie for our old guild on Neopets. We were only using the Freewebs easy editor. It was fun, but it wasn't a graphics website like this. We wanted to create a much more fun website, with recipes, crafts, and more.

So we used the Freewebs advanced editor to start up Girls4_life. It was the best we thought it could be! There was even a gameroom and one type of graphics. We were younger. Then we found out how hard it was to keep up with the navbar, pages, HTML, and everything!!! So we went to Lissa Explains and that helped a ton. Still, we weren't satisfied.

By now, we were trying all these different web hosts, but none of them were working out. So we came back to freewebs and made, yet again, another site. That was the one and only, Paradise Cloud. But, when it first was up, we had a terrible layout with horrible colors.

So I made another website, Dolliz. This was the best yet! But...the table layout was super hard to keep up. So I made Dolliz2 with frames. It was great, but to change the font color and scrollbar colors for the whole layout, we'd have to fix EVERY page :(

Now I was mad. When would it work out?!? But I came back here to Paradise Cloud and fixed the layout with iframes. Then, I found out a way to change lots of HTML with one page. And...voila! Paradise Cloud -revamped- and beautiful!

UPDATE After Freewebs started giving me a hard time, I really needed a host. Luckily, I asked Manda, and she agreed! Now that I have a hostess, I switched to PHP and worked to make my site the best it could be.
